DEFENSE OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS, INC.

Meet Our Founder
Aaron Sneed is the Founder and CEO of Defense Operations & Engineering Solutions (DOES), a Florida-based execution and engineering firm that helps high-reliability and regulated programs deliver audit-ready outcomes. DOES strengthens execution discipline, digital engineering capability (including model-based systems engineering, MBSE), and responsible automation so teams reduce schedule risk, improve documentation quality, and produce reviewable records.

What DOES does
DOES supports organizations operating in defense, space and aerospace, nuclear energy, pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, and semiconductor and microelectronics environments. We help teams move from “hero-based” execution to “process-based” delivery by improving operating cadence, documentation discipline, requirements clarity, and decision traceability.
Our focus is practical outcomes: clear scope, repeatable procedures, traceable documentation, and records that stand up to customer review.

Digital engineering and MBSE
A core part of DOES’s work is digital engineering, including MBSE practices that improve clarity and traceability across the lifecycle. Depending on the program, this can include requirements decomposition, interface definition, verification planning, and configuration control. The goal is not “modeling theater.” The goal is decision support and execution discipline that improves delivery performance and reduces rework.

Responsible automation and AI-assisted support
DOES uses software automation, including AI-assisted drafting and reporting support, to reduce administrative drag and strengthen documentation quality while keeping engineering judgment, decisions, review, and final signoff with qualified personnel. In regulated environments, the deliverable is not only the result. It is the result plus the record that can be reviewed and defended.

Industries and use cases
DOES’s operating model maps to environments where failure is costly and documentation is scrutinized:
-
Nuclear energy: procedure-driven work, documentation discipline, and audit-ready records
-
Space and aerospace: reliability culture, schedule risk reduction, and traceable decisions
-
Pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing: controlled processes, quality thinking, and change discipline
-
Semiconductor and microelectronics: traceability expectations and high-consequence process control
-
Defense: mission-assurance execution discipline and accountable governance

Education
Aaron’s education includes:
-
Morehouse College (B.S.)
-
Boston University (M.S., Project Management)
-
Boston University (MBA)
-
Stevens Institute of Technology (M.S., Systems Engineering)

Outside of work
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys aerospace and automotive engineering, mentoring, and hands-on prototyping.
